What is included in the registration price?
The registration price includes accommodation, food, transportation to and from nightlife venues as well as access to our amazing presentations/workshops! (Flights are not included)

What is the accommodation set up?
This year delegates will be staying in Walter Gage residence, a residence on UBC's beautiful Vancouver campus. There will be a mix of 6-Bedroom suites and studios. The 6-Bedroom suites are comprised of 6 private rooms with shared common spaces and bathrooms, the floor layout is below. Further information can be found on UBC Housing's website: Walter Gage Residence

Can I get my own private suite?
Yes, private suites / studios are available. Private suites are reserved for those who require their own space due to accessibility reasons. If you require your own suite please reach out via email to suds@ams.ubc.ca. Note that there will however be additional costs. After registration has closed (July 29th) you may no longer request a private suite.

Can I book accommodation through SUDS to stay before or after the conference?
No, we are unable to provide accommodation through SUDS for those wishing to arrive early or stay past the end of the conference. If you wish to elongate your stay in Vancouver or are planning on arriving early please plan accordingly by booking accommodation on your own terms.

Will there be meal alternatives for those with differing diets?
Yes, we will be providing meal alternatives for those who follow different diets such as vegan, vegetarian or other. If you have any specific dietary concerns please reach out via email to suds@ams.ubc.ca.

Do I need each individual delegate's name on their ticket?
No, institutions were required to provide their delegates names to facilitate check in. The name (name of purchaser) on the tickets is not of importance for check in. Delegates names will be on a list and they will be checked in using said list as they arrive.

What is the dress code?
Delegates are expected to wear business casual attire during conference activities such as workshops, keynotes, networking sessions and meals. Delegates are welcome to change into casual clothes for nightlife activities. For the gala, delegates will be expected to wear semi-formal or formal attire.
